Our team is experienced in Learning and People Development, with a key focus in psychometric assessments. Our team members are registered specialists in test use with the British Psychological Society, and are BPS certified in Level 1 & 2 in Occupational Testing. Working with individuals – from university students and fresh graduates, to managers, directors and executives – we design assessments and utilise psychometric instruments to gain deeper insights about people and how to maximise their potentials. We learn about what makes them tick, which buttons to push to get results, and, of course, how to engage and motivate them so that they gain satisfaction. With this information, we help organisations identify compatibility in hires, high potential successors, and build development plans to achieve individual and business goals.

Evelyn Chue | Managing Director
Evelyn has more than a decade of human capital consulting experience, specialising in the application of psychometric assessments for individual, divisional and organisational development. She is highly customer-focused, and by broadening and sharpening her expertise with extensive experience, she has shaped People Psyence®’s service offerings across the leadership pipeline, from the C-suite to the front line of diverse industries. Her passion lies in providing integrated solutions beyond psychometric instruments where scientific methods and quantitative measures are used to better analyse and understand the psychological variables of talent pool.
Prior to establishing People Psyence®, Evelyn led a team of highly qualified consultants under Thomas International Malaysia of Deloitte Consulting and was active in the expansion of Deloitte Leadership Academy. Her past role involved empowering clients to take up HR initiatives, and developing existing practical and progressive HR/People management strategies. Her responsibilities also included managing several key accounts in Southeast Asia.
Evelyn is a Level 1 & 2 (Psychometrics) registered specialist in test use with the British Psychological Society (BPS), European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA) and is also the Course Director of Saville Assessment’s International Accreditation Course. She is certified to design and run Assessment & Development Centres, aligning with the high standards of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). In addition, Evelyn holds a certificate by London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH) and as well as is a member of Malaysian Society of Clinical Hypnosis (MSCH). She strongly believes that core values represent the soul of the organisation and therefore applies values-based leadership to align People Psyence®’s internal culture with acute customer-centricity, creativity and innovation, great teamwork as well as high commitment.
Soo Ren Chang | Innovation Psyentist®
Ren Chang is an Innovation Psyentist® at People Psyence®. He co-creates meaningful solutions with his clients by leveraging on his background in facilitation and human centered design. In addition, he is a contributor & reviewer of a recently published service design practitioner’s handbook entitled This is Service Design Doing.
Prior to working at People Psyence®, Ren Chang led design thinking consulting engagements and executive education workshops. In the financial services industry, he was responsible for talent management, and organisation effectiveness. Additionally, he was a management consultant with Deloitte and PwC.
Ren Chang’s facilitation & training experience encompasses leadership development conferences, intercultural seminars, train the trainer workshops, experiential learning retreats, strategy & planning meetings in various countries such as Vietnam, Turkey, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany and Malaysia.
Ren Chang was educated at University Putra Malaysia and holds a BEng Computer & Communication Systems. Holding a MSc in Management Psychology from the University of Nottingham, he is a certified occupational ability & personality test user by the British Psychological Society. He is trained in design thinking by the professors from Stanford University’s d.school. In addition, he is also a certified facilitator in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method & materials.
Jaxton Cheah | Futuring Psyentist®
Jaxton is a Futuring Psyentist® in People Psyence®. He likes to watch trends and envision what might happen in the future. Jaxton is a Gamification Advocate in Malaysia. He works with many reputable gamification experts in the United States and Europe such as Amy Jo Kim, Yu-Kai Chou, Pete Jenkins, and An Coppens to promote Game Thinking & Gamification in the South East Asia (SEA) region. He was recruited by Amy Jo Kim, the founder of Game Thinking Academy (GTA) to be the GTA coach. He coached reputable companies like TESLA, CISCO, Doctor.com during Game Thinking Live global event in San Francisco.
He is also a GamFed (International Gamification Federation) member and actively promote gamification best practices especially in Malaysia. He also produces two annual national conferences – Game Thinking Asia & Talent Ecosystem Conference to further promote innovation in HR & customer experience with Game Thinking/ Gamification in the SEA region. In addition, he is familiar with and have used the Stanford d.school design thinking method in gamification projects.
Khairul Nazar Khalid | Crackerjack Psyentist®
Nazar takes the name of Crackerjack Psyentist® at People Psyence®. He is a crackerjack at stirring teams to discover meaningful insights and identify potential innovation spaces and its solutions. He is someone who is very eager to look for new challenges and inspirations.
Nazar is an advocate of Design Thinking and the use of design for business, strategies and innovation. He specialises in design strategies, design thinking and service design. He has been involved in curation of design thinking and user journey contents and participant experience in his past employment.
He had a wide range of career experiences that has aided him to be a multifaceted employee and consultant. He started his trade as a designer and a market researcher, then life took him to be a lecturer. His Master’s inspired him to take a challenge to be someone who will create a ripple effect for design thinking development in Malaysia, and pursued a career in Genovasi d.School, before he joined People Psyence®.
Nazar holds a Bachelor of Multimedia major in Interface Design from Multimedia University and a Master’s in Design Strategy and Innovation from Brunel University. He was trained in Stanford and HPI Design Thinking methodologies. He is also a HRDF Certified Trainer.
Ho Li Quin | Diagnostic Psyentist®
Having worked in Human Capital Consulting, Li Quin specialises in the field of talent assessments, including psychometric assessments and assessment centre, for the purpose of both individual and organisational development. Her passion lies in nurturing talents and optimising organisation’s potential through the application of scientific assessment and development approaches. Li Quin has the experience in partnering with stakeholders across levels to shape customised solutions within the sphere of Leadership/Talent Assessment & Development for GLCs, private and multinational companies. Engaged in leading large scale assessment and development centres (e.g. for clients of conglomerate, aviation and tobacco industry), she is familiar with the design of case files and related assessment materials, feedback delivery, post assessment management reviews and development intervention programmes.
As a certified Saville’s Wave® practitioner, Li Quin serves as the Course Director of Saville Assessment’s International Accreditation Course. She is also certified to design and run Assessment & Development Centres which is endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) UK. Prior to joining People Psyence®, she was with Aon Hewitt Leadership Knowledge Centre Southeast Asia. She has a background in Psychology and is a Level 1 & 2 (Psychometrics) registered test user with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA).
Sharon Liew | Senior Psyentist®
Sharon has been consulting in the area of talent management since 2009, being actively involved in projects related to assessment centres, competency modelling, success profiles and employee engagement surveys. Having led large scale assessment and development centres whilst in PPearl Consulting and Talent2, Sharon is familiar with the design of case files, scoring forms, report templates, feedback delivery, post assessment management reviews and development intervention programmes. Sharon is a certified and trained assessor of psychometric tools such as Talent Q and Saville Wave® Assessments, simulation exercises and competency based interviews. Prior to this, Sharon was a conference director, producing top notch events across different markets in Asia Pacific targeting senior industry players.
Josephine Chan | People Psyentist®
Josephine has joined People Psyence® as our Psyentist®. Prior to joining People Psyence®, she worked as a Training & Marketing Executive in the financial services industry. She has the experience in developing in-house training programmes for technical topics. Josephine is actively involved in projects related to talent assessments and consulting services. She is adept in the areas of assessment report writing, process mapping, as well as the facilitation of Assessment and Development Centres.
Josephine holds a Master’s of Science in Occupational and Business Psychology from Kingston University in London, United Kingdom. In addition, she is a registered Occupational Test User: Ability & Personality (also known as Level A & B) by the British Psychological Society (BPS). She is also accredited in Saville Assessments and 15 Factor Questionnaire Plus (15FQ+).
Lynn Lok | People Psyentist®
Before joining People Psyence®, Lynn worked at the mental health and education sector. She aims to raise awareness of mental health issues in workplace. Lynn is currently involved in projects associated with talent assessments and consulting services.
Lynn holds a Masters of Science in Child Development from University College London, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Sheffield. She is a graduate member of British Psychological Society (BPS) and is accredited in Saville Assessments.
Mia Affandi | Andragotive Psyentist®
Graduated from the background of Instructional Communication & Training, Mia Affandi started her career in training industry by facilitating trainings and developing modules. Her passion in adult learning drives her to innovate the method through few approaches including technology.
She involved in quite number of consulting projects with various industries including retail and manufacturing. HR processes is nothing new to her as she’s been working on them since the past years from pre-boarding process up to redesign culture and values. Understanding the need of the current trend, she’s been actively merging few approaches (Gamification, Game Thinking & Design Thinking) in her projects and training.
D’Jae Ch’ng | Funnovative Psyentist®
D’Jae Ch’ng is inspired to help people get where they are going and make an impact globally. She is currently a Funnovative Psyentist® at People Psyence®, executing employee and learning engagement projects in various industries such as Telecommunications, Airline, Property Development, F&B, Logistics, etc
She has attended trainings with world-renowned gamification gurus like Yu-Kai Chou and An Coppens, and is certified for Level 1 Octalysis by The Octalysis Group, founded by Yu-Kai Chou. She has learned a great deal from Game Thinking Coach of Netflix, Slack, eBay, Happify – Amy Jo Kim in product and innovation design.
D’Jae also sits in the committee as Conference Co-producer for both Game Thinking Asia and Talent Ecosystem Conference in 2017 & 2018, she plays an integral role in gamifying the conferences. She has successfully created participation and engagement between the delegates, speakers, and exhibitors.
Her experience has brought her to work in collaboration with local and international gamification platform providers such as Gametize, Games For Business, SelfDrvn, Olig Amaze Super Agent, etc. By introducing Gamification platforms, she is also well experienced in conducting deep user research to ensure successful technology adoption and implementation.
D’Jae has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Marketing from The Ohio State University. Her strong analytical abilities is a great advantage to conduct deep user research, distill insights and apply context-specific solutions. She now specialises in human-focused designs to put herself in others’ shoes to create meaningful experiences for each gamification design journey.
Aiman Khairi | Innogagement Psyentist®
Aiman is the Innogagement Psyentist in People Psyence. He specializes in digital content strategy and a gamification design for employee and learning engagement. Coming from an Instructional Design background, Aiman champions in producing digital learning content from start to finish, this includes working on finding what is close to the heart of the audience to ensure the content produced is highly engaging to attract and stay relevant to the learner.
With his profound knowledge in digitalising onboarding journeys, employer branding, talent retention, and creating highly engaging digital contents, Aiman has started a new framework that has added significant value to his team in running the projects. Aiman understands
the mix of engagement, game elements, and social learning elements to create excitement of the learners in the gamification platforms carried. His framework has proved to be effective in his case studies.
Aiman is also a HRDF Certified Trainer. In short timing of his career, he has led in many gamification projects in the workplace for clients in Malaysia, such as Astro, Tealive, Gamuda Land, Safilo, Martin Brower, etc.
