Swift Executive Aptitude (SEA)

This assessment is a combination of three sub-tests to assess an individual’s critical thinking in terms of verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning.

Administration type: Online
Test duration: 18 minutes (timed)
Ideal for: Selection for recruitment, talent identification or succession planning for roles that requires strategic thinking

This assessment is a combination of three sub-tests to assess an individual’s critical thinking in terms of verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning. Balancing technology and strong validity, this test is used as a predictor of workplace performance and the individual’s learning agility. It assesses the following aptitude areas:

  • Verbal (working with words)
  • Abstract (working with logic)
  • Numerical (working with numbers)

MindmetriQ™ Gamified Aptitude Assessments

This is a set of gamified aptitude assessments to assess general cognitive ability (defined by Spearman as “g”), which is a component that is widely accepted as the best predictor of job performance.

Administration type: Online
Test duration: 3 – 7 minutes per assessment area (timed)
Ideal for: Selection for recruitment, talent identification or succession planning for roles that requires strategic thinking

MindmetriQ™ is a set of gamified aptitude assessments to assess general cognitive ability (defined by Spearman as “g”), which is a component that is widely accepted as the best predictor of job performance. Swift Comprehension Aptitude (SCA)

This assessment measures critical reasoning in terms of verbal and numerical reasoning, as well as error checking.

Administration type: Online
Test duration: 9.5 minutes (timed)
Ideal for: Selection or screening for operational, commercial, customer and administrative staff at apprentice or entry-level.

This test measures critical reasoning through short verbal, numerical and checking sub-tests. Balancing technology and strong validity, this test is used as a predictor of workplace performance and the individual’s learning agility. It assesses the following aptitude areas:

  • Numerical (working with numbers)
  • Error Checking (working with details)
  • Verbal (working with words)

Saville Swift Technical Aptitude (STA)

This assessment measures practical reasoning through short spatial, mechanical and diagrammatic sub-tests.

Administration type: Online
Test duration: 10 minutes (timed)
Ideal for: Selection or screening for technical roles, e.g. production workers, apprentices, engineers, designers and scientists

Swift Apprentice Aptitude

This assessment measures both technical and comprehension reasoning through short verbal, numerical, checking, spatial, mechanical and diagrammatic sub-tests.

Test duration: 19.5 minutes (timed)
Ideal for: Selection or screening of all types of staff at apprentice or entry-level roles.

Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test® (BMTC-II)

This assessment measures mechanical aptitude, such as spatial perception/visualisation, mechanical comprehension.

Test duration: 30 minutes (timed)
Ideal for: Selection or screening for electrical, engineering and mechanical roles as well as equipment operators in mining, manufacturing and utilities companies

BMTC-II is an assessment designed to assess mechanical aptitude. It helps to identify candidates with good spatial perception and mechanical reasoning abilities, as well as those with an aptitude for learning mechanical processes and tasks. It measures the following abilities:

  • Mechanical comprehension
  • Spatial Visualisation
  • Knowledge of basic physical and mechanical laws
  • Deduction of how machinery works

Differential Aptitude Tests™ Next Generation (DAT™ NG)

This assessment is a battery of tests designed to assess a number of cognitive abilities such as verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning.

Test duration: 15 minutes per test (untimed)
Ideal for: Pre-hire process, internal selection/talent identification, career guidance, recruitment to higher education courses and training

This is a verbal ability test designed to assess critical thinking ability, of which an individual is required to look at a situation and clearly understand it from multiple perspectives while separating facts from opinions and assumptions.

This is a non-verbal assessment designed to measure an individual’s level of cognitive ability.
